The New Edgewater formerly known as The Edgewater Hotel was purchased in June 2004 by a Barbadian company, Villa Investments Inc. The shareholders of this company Marjorie Riley and Anthony Maughn fell in love with the 9 mile coastline view on the Atlantic Ocean side and the cool and calming waters of the Joes River on the western side of the property. 

All rooms are air-conditioned and the property can boast of having television, telephone, hair dryer and a small fridge in all rooms. The reception area is brand new, the pool has been completely redone with a pool bar and one can relax and enjoy the sounds of the river on the newly refurbish riverside deck.

Our in-house restaurant, The Cliffside, provides a choice of seating locations. One may relax in the outdoor area which overlooks the Atlantic Ocean, or sit inside and enjoy the cool fresh breeze of the ocean. The Cliffside offers breakfast, lunch and dinner, and is well known for its Bajan cuisine, especially on Sundays. One can also order off the menu which provides a wide choice.
