A Tour of the Garrison Historic Area

The Barbados Garrison Historical Consortium Inc presents a guided tour of the Garrison Historic Area.
 
You travel in an air-conditioned tour bus with knowledgeable multi-lingual tour guides. 
 
Bridgetown and its Historic Garrison have recently been recognised by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site
 
Along the way, you will stop at the following historic sites:
George Washington House which includes an interpretative display of the recently rediscovered Garrison Tunnels built in the 1820s
The National Armoury - contains the finest 17th century iron cannon collection in the world
The Barbados Museum Gift Shop 
The Changing of the Sentry
 
You will also be treated to a beverage and a snack at the offices mess in St Ann's Fort now in use by the Barbados Defence Force.
