EBCCI Cinema Club - Last King of Scotland
The Director, Staff and Students of the Errol Barrow Centre for Creative Imagination invite you to join the EBCCI Cinema Club at the Cinematique.
This is an opportunity for students and friends to see some of the best film projects produced at the EBCCI during the Semester, as well as a selection of feature films that perhaps shouldn’t be missed.
Admission is free but there is limited seating so get there early.
This week's showing is:
The last king of Scotland screen-written by Jeremy Brock and directed by Kevin McDonald.
Based on the novel by Giles Foden, the film details the brutal reign of Ugandan dictator Idi Amin as seen through the eyes of his personal physician. Forest Whittaker won the Best Actor Oscar for his performance as Idi Amin.,
Coupled with this is a short student film entitled Don't Do That by Sharon Lashley.
